The Creed – Nativity
The Nativity Scene symbolizes the Lord who “emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being born in human likeness.” Philippians 2:7.
This window begins the series of six windows dealing with the life of Jesus Christ illustrating the Second Article of the Creed: God the Son, Redeemer of the world.
Shining above the baby Jesus in the manger, at the very top of the window is the star which led the wise men to Jesus’ birthplace.
In the stable, beside the manger sit Mary and Joseph contemplating the Infant Jesus who has come to be the Savior of the world.
